Over the past years we have developed FUGA.
We at IIP believe that the dynamic for making money with music is: Hear - Like - Buy
People buy music only after hearing and liking it, so you need partners to put the music in the ears, minds and hearts of them and partners that can handle the 'BUY'.
Our vision is shared by people as passionate about music and technology as we are, thanks Andrew for pointing this out to me years ago!
Together with a team of fantastic people we have worked for years to create 'THE' digital platform "FUGA". Of course I'm not completely or completely not objective here ;-)
It was and still is a long road, but the good news is that we have refueled and are ready to engage at large with the music industry and populate our platform with all parties in the supply matrix.
So an interesting road trip while developing IMHO a kick ass platform for managing the flow of music from where it is created, to where it is consumed. Enabling full transparency for all parties and a world of opportunity for all businesses monetizing their music. One source to store all creations and information describing what each asset is and what the ownership structure looks like. From the source (FUGA) any business or promotion partner can get access to the 'Content'. In any format, at any moment in time an to any place on the internet. FULLY controlled by the owners of the IP. FUGA is connected to hundreds of Online and mobile shops and service providers around the world, to Neighboring right societies, Aggregators, Royalty processing systems and so on and so on. This to give the owners the ability to deal with many different partners in a hyper fragmented market at low cost and provide the tools to open up more business space to what ever business opportunity that comes along, without having to run IT departments and deal with an ever increasing demand of 'connected' infrastructure.
We have proven our technology and serve a beautiful portfolio of forward thinking clients, but now we need to grow the community and get the industry on board. The issues we are facing are many. Like existing contracts of our potential clients with competitors, IT departments defending their own (too expensive) solution and so on. All these issues make sense and companies and people are not doing anything wrong, but it just makes sense to have one standard for this and share the source underpinning a world of connected users. FUGA connects to all parties and allows collaboration within organizations that create and productize those creations. From the point of creation any distribution configuration can be achieved, even the replicators of physical product can tap into this source. After working with so many talented people and finding out step by step how little I know and how much help I needed to get going, I am reaching out to all of you to think with me for a minute and share your ideas on how to make the FUGA network grow. We will respect your ideas! M
