Crazy times

IIP is growing and we finally start to see some great results for all the hard work we have put in as a team. I could have guessed it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, but happy I went all in without thinking of all the obstacles. I just got back from the States and my bio clock is fucked up, didn't sleep at all for a week during the night and get tired during the day. Strange considering this never happened to me before. Maybe because it's all so exciting. In these crazy times I miss my friends that are where business is of no importance anymore (I think ;-). All the BS of people that were involved or are involved but not on a day to day bases. I am happy with my investors that still back us up and kept believing in our idea. Fantastic....!

Terror

Yesterday we had a serious terror threat in Amsterdam. All over the news and 5 people were arrested. A whole area was closed down, concerts were canceled in the Heineken music hall on the same strip etc. etc. I already thought this is nothing again, just fear for the nation and just 5 minutes ago all people that were arrested are released again. A typical case of nothing to be worried about. But, what to do when a message, no matter where it comes from, about a bomb attack comes in? I see this great country develop into a crazy nation, with Geert Wilders polled to get the most votes at the next election, a alcohol lock on your car, every 2 weeks a city closed down because two frustrated Moroccan kids talk about Jihad etc etc. We need a new Bohemian Rhapsody, We need Love peace and ...., We need Sex drugs and rock and roll, we need new priests, we need passion and ambition and we need to get rid of all those fear loving public servants. But I am getting old, have kids, a business to run, etc. So can we grow up and at the same time be against the system? I am strugling here help ;-)

Back in Dubai

It's been a while, but i'm back in Dubai for 24 hours. Staying at the Palm. Wow still a building site, but getting there. Dubai is a strange place.....

Amazing evening

Yesterday we attended the wedding of a new friend. I met two amazing people (sitting next to me). They adopted 4 brothers from Colombia 20 some years ago and now all boys are grown up. What an amazing story and what a challenge. I asked if they were crazy, but they told me that it just felt the right thing to do. Wow if the world would be more like these two, it would be a better place. To be continued.....
