According to some worst industry statement 2008

Worst industry statement Especially the comments are fun ;-) It's interesting to see people say these things. The media/music industry should have gone into hardware..... I understand why people say these things, but thinking more deep it is like saying they should have been in another business ;-) I don't think anybody but Steve Jobs and his Apple team could have pulled this of, simply because if there would have been anybody else they would have done it. The industry should have embraced the new world and let go of control 'old style' ;-) The year is ending and I am doing a lot of thinking about the last years (Since I started to work in this space). What sticks to my mind is the way things have developed for me and how difficult it was to get through the old thinking. Especially when people used to old thinking try to do new thinking and hold positions that decide what new thinking is passed on to decision makers. The innovators dilemma in my own brave new world... The hardest part of setting up a new venture that does things different is to convince people to do it and bet their business on it. It took us almost 3 years to prove that point and now we finally see the breakthrough we worked our asses for. I wonder how to take a shortcut her??? haha. My hero AE: "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." Tell this to people that created a problem and still work in their companies trying to fix it ;-)
