I love America and most people I have met during my visits to this land of the brave. But somehow America has another side that's like the opposite of brave: Fearful

Watch this amazing video and think of all the fanatic Muslims, Jews, Jaws, Dutch, Black stockings, Clans etc. Where do these people come from, they are everywhere and what do they want? How do they envision society to be? I wonder.

Dutch public broadcast system is wacked

In Holland we use like 0.5 billion Euro's in tax money to support our public broadcast system. We have not one organization that spends all of that cash, but many different organizations that all represent some opinion or group in our diverse society. Each one of those organizations can grow if they get enough members to support them. A member pays around EURO 5,00,- in fees to support the org of choice. Once in a while the organizations all campaign to recruit more souls. The more souls paying the 5euro, the more time on the net they get and the more money to make programs. The cost for getting a new member is on average around 15euro, so for each new member the tax payer looses 10euro. This system is so terrible fucked up, that I wonder how much longer this system is going to stay in office. The makers of great programs have nothing to say about the cash that can be burned and the fragmentation on the public net is so intense that consensus between the parties is like trying to get all religious leaders to agree.

Bride Flight

Once in a while the Dutch movie making community delivers a fantastic piece. Bride Flight is one of those movies. We watched it yesterday night and I was impressed with the cast, the story and everything else that makes up a good movie. Thanks Waldemar for a great evening and putting Mar and me in the best seats of the house ;-)

Popkomm 2008

We are in Berlin for Popkomm 2008. Yesterday we had the Popkomm EMEA award ceremony and didn't win :-( It was a bit of weird experience and the voting was not a very elegant way to determine who is actually the best innovator. Kyte won and deserved, the ceo gave a great presentation. Of course I think IIP should have won, but hey you can't have it all.

The world is changing and we are all going to be under political (financial) control

The financial crisis that has started 10 years ago and today is coming to a climax is changing the global economic landscape. After listening to many different people and today a private bank about savings money, I believe that most banks will be owned by the state soon and people who are lucky and have their money at one of those banks will be save. All the others, the people who don't have connections with their bank or in the financial world will be FUCKED. Those are the people that do the hard work in our western (civilized) world. I hate to see this happen, but know this is just the way it works. Survival of the fittest. I have hated banks all my life as an entrepreneur, they are only there for us when they can make money, if you need them, they Fuck Off. Next week the world will look different, a giant collapse. Hmmm, happy about life, happy about love, happy that all those evil bankers, except the good ones are getting a lesson in life.
