Profile:

• Technical background, mind of a scientist.
• Formal education in Computer Science.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• Able to collaborate with tools such as email, instant messaging, wikis, etc, since the development team is distributed over various countries.
• Fluent spoken and written English - team working language is English

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate development teams
• Drive architectural and methodological development strategy
• Take responsibility for quality and delivery on schedule
• Get hands dirty

Technical Skills:

• Java, J2EE, Java application servers (particularly JBoss)
• Source code revision control with CVS and/or SVN
• Java frameworks, such as Spring, Tapestry and Hibernate
• Relational databases such as Postgresql, MySQL, Oracle
• XML, Xalan, XSLT, SAX, DOM, etc.
• Unix/Linux, IP networking
• Security principles, cryptography
